Letter from Iraq
Letter from Iraq is an original play from the pens of Colin O'Doherty and Peadar Donohoe which delves into the issues of the war through the dysfunctional dynamics of a family who no longer communicate with one another.  No longer able to connect with one another since the death of a beloved mother, they carry on oblivious to one another's pain.  Now, the loss of a son, serving in Iraq, threatens to compound the past mistakes with the ultimate disintegration of the family.  However, the arrival of an enigmatic bereavement counsellor opens past wounds and brings the family towards a confrontation that may destroy it completely or open the way for reconciliation and healing.

This is a wonderful, heart-warming play that had audiences in tears and laughter in it's 2005 debut.
